Porsche 356 leaves for Europe after full rebuild

After 14 months of hard work, this stunning Porsche 356 left for mainland Europe in the snow having been subject of a major refurbishment programme at our sister Company Malton Coachworks.

Classic & Sportscar Centre took a very sad looking matching numbers Porsche 356C in part exchange in late 2016, collecting it from the Brecin Beacons. The car was marketed for restoration and a buyer was quickly found in Switzerland. In December 2016 work began with the body requiring complete rebuild and over £10,000 of brand new panels to include front wings, doors, sills and bonnet. The rebuilt shell was painted in the buyers choice, all renewed brightwork was then fitted and then the car beautifully re-trimmed in red leather. On completion of the re-trim, glass was re-fitted and the car delivered to our workshop for a mechanical overhaul to include new shocks, brake overhaul, various engine work and full servicing. Prior to collection a Cat 1 alarm was fitted and the car collected by trailer in top class condition.  If you would are considering a project however small or large and would like to speak to one of our team for advice, please call 01944 758000 and we will be happy to assist and advise as required.
